The Deportivo de la Coruña has officially registered a change to its corporate statutes, moving its registered office to the Abanca Riazor Stadium. The modification was published in the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Register (BORME) on Friday, May 8. The club has now updated Article 3 of its statutes to reflect that its social address is “Calle Manuel Murguía, s/n, Estadio Abanca Riazor, 15004, A Coruña.”
The club originally left its former headquarters at Plaza de Pontevedra in February 2025, shifting most of its operations to Abegondo. However, officials emphasized at the time that the registered office would move to the Riazor Stadium, where a number of employees remain, to preserve the club’s connection to the city where it was founded 120 years ago. Until now, the change had not been formalized in the mercantile registry.

In addition to the office relocation, the club recently removed two ceramic murals from the facade of its former headquarters at Plaza de Pontevedra. These works, created by Francisco Creo Rodríguez, have been part of the visual history of both the club and the city. Club sources confirmed that the murals will be taken to the museum storage for treatment and restoration, and will later be included in the museum’s exhibition space, where fans can see and remember them.

The Deportivo had been based at the Plaza de Pontevedra offices since 1972, which were donated by Pedro Barrié de la Maza in the early 1970s. Following the club’s growth in recent years, it has moved nearly all its activity to Abegondo, except for the operations remaining at Riazor. The removal of the murals marks a symbolic end to an era for the club and its supporters.
