Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has praised the performance of goalkeeper Renato Marin, who started in place of Russian shot-stopper Matvey Safonov during the team’s 1-0 victory over Brest in Ligue 1’s 33rd round.

Safonov was named on the bench but did not feature in the match, as Marin took his place between the posts. Enrique commented on the decision, saying, “I want the players to be ready, and that’s exactly what we worked on with Renato. He did a very good job. Everyone needs to be prepared because we have two weeks until the Champions League.”
