Bayern Munich’s squad celebrated their latest Bundesliga triumph on Sunday wearing T-shirts featuring cockatoos in club shirts.

A 4-2 victory over Stuttgart secured the club’s 35th German top-flight title and a second consecutive crown under head coach Vincent Kompany.
While Bayern clinched the championship this season with their own result, last season’s maiden title under Kompany was decided by results elsewhere.
When Bayer Leverkusen’s draw with Freiburg handed Bayern the title last season, Kompany and his players watched the outcome on a television in a Munich restaurant.
During that meal, the team became fond of a cockatoo statue, which was later taken by one of the players. A week later, the statue appeared prominently in Bayern’s title celebrations.
“I’m not saying who it was,” Kompany said during last season’s title win. “The story will come out sometime.”
The infamous cockatoo statue also made an appearance on the pitch during Sunday’s celebrations, photographed alongside players including midfielder Leon Goretzka.
